We set the standard for quality, innovation, and accountability in pipe rehabilitation & infrastructure renewal.
It’s October. The world is preparing to kick 2022 into the growing pile of unprecedented years that have gotten us to this point. As Standard Pipe Services reflects on the year’s accomplishments, we start planning for the meaningful impact we can make in 2023. One of the most insightful gatherings was the Infrastructure for Development Conference, better known as Infra4Dev. This conference aims for a diverse group of professionals, innovators, academia, policymakers, economists, researchers, etc., to collaborate on best practices and solutions for infrastructure. Make no mistake, infrastructure is a world concern and is the catalyst for growth and development. This year, 92 countries participated in the entitled “the impact of infrastructure on economic development”.
Healthy infrastructure directly impacts the costs of goods and services, mobility, energy, and water and symbolizes a nation’s ability to grow. Standard Pipe Services (SPS) is honored to contribute to rejuvenating infrastructure in Delaware and surrounding states. SPS is devoted to a customer-centric approach model by:
- Implementing innovative solutions;
- Investing in value over quantity;
- Being present and available; and
- Taking personal accountability
In the spirit of renewing our commitment to these values and setting the standard the industry looks to, we are pleased to name Matthew Zakutny as Vice President of Standard Pipe Services. Matthew has been with Standard Pipe Services since 2011 and served as the Project Management Director. Matthew has in-depth experience in civil engineering, architecture, and construction which has served him well as a veteran in this field. Matthew is an accomplished leader, and as Vice President, he provides leadership and vision for the continuous improvement of operations, customer service, education, procedure, research, and development, and identifies advancements in the marketplace while strategically positioning SPS to serve our clients’ needs. So, who are our clients?

How Do We Work With Our Clients?
Standard Pipe Services utilizes a solution-focused approach in identifying problem areas and providing several practical solutions and a plan of action that fits the client’s specific needs. Standard Pipe Services has the resources and expertise to navigate complex problems and immediately mediate a solution. We understand and empathize with the overwhelming challenges municipalities and communities face with the maintenance and cost of repair with an immense network of aging infrastructure. We excel at increasing infrastructure life and appurtenances with cost-effective solutions such as pipe rehabilitation with minimal community disruption.
We work with municipality and community grant budgets to optimize savings and prioritize expansion, repairs, and maintenance efforts to meet fiduciary duty and fiscal responsibility. After performing an assessment and condition tests, we can identify and document the problem areas. Next, we provide documentation with a consultation explaining different rehabilitation, repair, or replacement methods. We also advise on the cost and effectiveness of each solution presented. Finally, we co-create a plan of action with the client that fits within the scope of their goals and budget. Below are some of our services; click on the links below to read more about them.
